ABOUT

Welcome to my blog where I get to enjoy using anecdotes from my real life to craft personal essays about the college essay experience. I hope my stories help to debunk the bum-rap surrounding the college essay and that students and parents alike enjoy my missives on life and the college essay: the anticipation and the writing of. If you live a life (and I’m certain that you do) and have a personality (I’m certain you have one of those too) then no matter your writing ability or affection for writing, you can write a compelling personal story in 500 words or less. I try to teach by example, so enjoy the blog, and remember that a simple detail or truth from your everyday life is great fodder for a college essay!
